Arab-families...Ramadan activities

Ahlan....Alhamdulilah....we invited our special visitor from Malaysia to Break-fast with arab-families yesterday 23.9.07 at Serikandi Restaurant KB,
Ustaz Shahul Hamid An'Naqsyabandiy.......from Maahad Tahfiz- Quran Darul Tahzhib.
Teluk Kambar,..Pulau Pinang

In conjunction of his visit Ustaz Shahul Hamid read... Special Doa..Prayers just before the "Bersungkai'......wedding anniversary's doa's.....

Members of the ladies arab-families attended the Tarawikh Prayer berjamaah with Iman and Takwa...Amin!!!

Our eldest.... Mama and Papa attended the Tarawih Prayer Berjamaah......

Alhamdulilah....today mark our 19th. wedding anniversary (BinKhalid and Hjh.Latifah).....23th.Sept.1988 to 23th.Sept.2007.....over the 19 years,..Amin!!!!

we were blessed with 4 children's....2 boys (twins) and 2 girls from the Arab-families of Al-Hijazi....generations

members of the Al-Khalifah families today! and...now! ....Rara's is 18th, Khairi and Khalis 15th...Cici 13th. years old.....see...more and more pictures on down memory lane.........below...

Aii.. thank you Simpur for nominating my blog as feature blog of the week! Nda sangka sangka! Ada jua recognition ah!! Orang tua tua kali memblog ah!!
Seriously I'm new in this and I'm really glad I did. It has brought many positive developments to my family and friends. I'm able to share our photos and experiences with our family and friends around the globe. At the same time, I'm able to make new friends.
Ever since Juan Pablo left for his studies, we are left with no one to document our family gatherings. So, we very much try to fill in his shoes.. Pablo atu pengasas kami kali ahh!! Even my daugther Cici wants be like him. So I bought a SLR camera for her..(.www.bananapancake-cici.blogspot.com)

Arab families - a nickname created for my own family, based on whichmy grandfather, Shaikh Said Al-Hijazi first came to BruneiDarussalam in 1934. The blog documents about Arab families' history and activities which serve the purpose to unite the family and get current generation of Arab families to know more about their roots. At the same time, the blog is able to unite distant Arab families'relatives and friends around the globe. I hope this blog will inspire other families to do the same for their respective families.

Bon Voyage from arab-families to Hazim and Heidi

We bid farewell to Binhazim for UK (Manchester) last Saturday 15.9.2007, after his Summer holidays,........Bon Voyage to you Hazimboy...you Geology is Fun......Hazimboy is famous for "The naked Geologist"..you may go to www.gologyisfun.wordpress.com. arab-families with Binhazim.......(he is like a son to me...)
We had Sungkia gathering for his farewell at Serikandi Restaurant KB...Selamat belayar Hazimboy......see..you.....next holidays... and Selamat hari Raya....maaf zahir batin....
We also bid farewell to Heidi to further her studies in London,.she is our families closed closed friends,.....I'm sure Cicibananapancake, Rara's gonna miss you Heidi... starting from today..........bye...bye......... Heidi from all of us.....the arab=families.....Rara's,Khairi,Khalis and Cici...

arab-families during Ramadhan

Ahlan......"Ya-Ramadan Al-Mubarak" from arab-families wishes all Muslims...."Selamat Berpuasa"...We begin the month of Ramadan as of Thursday 13.th.Sept. 2007...as we fast from dawn to dusk. ..(our eldest also joining us for the berbuka puasa)

Throughout the fasting month,....religious activities we pick up as "Tarawikh" prayers we held among our families members as well "Taddarus" ceremonies were also held.

Most members of arab-families came to join the "Break-Fast" on th first day of Ramadan ..... (pic...... ngalih kali ah..lapas sungkai)..he..he..he..kanyang...

The month of Ramadan is also celebrated with moderate feast as families gather to break the feast daily with generous amounts of food to go around...

Time to break "Menunggu Badok"....with Azan Prayers.....

Arab-familie also invited some of our closed relatives to join the "Berbuka Puasa" ..recently...."BUFFET SUNGKAI".

After tarawikh apa lagi .."makan Durian" ..woo...Smell of durians....(musim durian kali ah...)
Our brother Mazin Al-Zain join our families for "IFTAR" break-feast in our Serikandi Restaurant in KB.
As well we say good with "Doa Selamat" by to Hazim Boy leaving us for continuing his studies in U.K. on Saturday 15.th. Sept. 2007 (back after summer holidays)..Bon Voyage to you Hazim Boy....
Before Tarawik Prayer start... we have "Tazkirah "..fadilat of Ramadan.......read by our Imam..
Our Imam Muddafor Al-Hafiz leading the night prayer of "Tarawikh"...for ONE month of Ramadan...this is his third year with arab-families during Ramadan.....Amin...!!
